My brother was diagnosed as an infant with Cerebral Palsy.  My brother and my parents live life on the brink, and the brink is consistently being redefined. My brother loves long drives and music, especially music. My brother sings out loud in wordless joy, smiling, and rocking back and forth in his wheelchair. My brother is a handful. He doesn't give his parents any days off. My brother needs his parents, and his needs are ever changing, and the older he gets, the more he needs them, and the more we grow with him. My brother would be left behind if it were not for a handful of people who are physically capable and otherwise compelled to care for him, and the bigger he gets, the harder it is to care for him.
